The day started by first working at my company knocking off early so we can travel and spend latter part of the late aftermoon early evening surveying the place.
Lessons learned#1. Leaders need to be the 1st and last on any event!
The night unfolded the team agreeing to go and meet up. The arrangement into a joyride with the crew as we soon found out my gps map is outdated! But with a full tanked fuel and tip top car condition, the guys enjoyed it more than the driver:( We capped the night with a wine toast with close friends who share the same passion.
Lessons learned#2. Travel prepared with updated travel guides likes maps, GPS etc.
The golfing day started with a bad news! A team member was bitten what it seemed like a wasp or centipede bite. His forefinger was badly swollen we ended up asking front reception for ointment. Good thing they seemed to know this is a normal occurence. Good thing during the course of the breakfast the swell has started to subside.
Lesson learned #3: Bring 1st aid kit!!! One of our players got bitten on the forefinger by an unknown assailant as he lay on his bed. He woke up with a huge swell and is wondering if he could still make up for his round. After putting some ointment the swell finally subsided which led him to still join us for the 18hole round.
What a weekend!!
