Had to break the meeting routine..

Coming early for a biz trip, I had to shrug off my jet lag by playing a round at Firewheel golf lake course.

Scored a forgettable 95 although the cool weather provided a good relief from where I came from!

2017 lessons learnt in golf

1. Driver: Choke half for driver

2. Iron play: Aim at toe to compensate for my shank.

3. For bunker shot-aim aim aim!! Aim 1 inch ! Aim 1 inch behind the ball!!

4. Putter :  triangle arms and swimg

Just pure appreciation to ACUSHNET for showering me with unexpected early CNY gift! I wrote an email to them asking for a replacement cover of my wifes worn out white cart bag.

March 2017 handicapp

I slipped my handicap this year not because I lack in practice or frequency of it but simply due to the tournaments I joined and I scored pretty badly. Except for the Feb game where I logged 86 rendering 2nd place, all other 4 games were 95, 101, 104 scores!

 

Irons regrip

After using for 3-4 years, I am regripping my titliest and mizuno irons!

Total charge 

1. Titliest : 15/pc for 4-PW = 105

2. Mizuno: 14/pc for 3-PW= 110

Dont know if worth it, but lets try!

 

 

TP Mills - club set nearing complete overhaul!

Finally, the loong awaited putter! TP Mills! Bought at a steep discount from a seller on SG's biggest preowned clubs.

2017 Priorities

I put in my FB personal note to target 5 point plan for this year.

1. Think and cultivate the habit of selling more ideas to people.
2. Think and cultivate the habit of selling more solutions to problems, no matter how trivial they are.
3. Learn and experience life more by going out of the comfort zone.
4. Buy useful items and ditch useless ones.
5. Buy more assets and invest in them. Stop buying 'liabilities'...
