3 TIPS to Go from 14 to single digit!

The great Canadian player George Knudson was a strong advocate of never swinging beyond a point of sacrificing balance.

1. Fix your head - any head movement would impact ball impact from toe to heel.
2. Divot in front - this is the evidence of good contact!
3. Compensate- move depending on the slope.

Ahh golf! After placing 2nd with a score of 95 in a 24 man flight, the 2nd time isnt so good. This time, I missed the cut!!! (Cut is defined as above 100 score on an easy course)

Heres how I played.

I had a pretty rough start of triple bogey 7. Then made bogey on 2nd and 3 straight pars till 5th hole. The 6th hole is bonus birdie. Carded bogey on 7th and 8th, This makes is 5 over on the first 8th holes! I was en route to my first ever 30 something round when disaster struck!

I drove my ball wayward right into tight rough and palm trees. I punched my 2nd back to the fairway and Im left with 150 meter 3rd shot. Instead of going for my trusted 4 woods, I tried going for my 5 irons. I shanked the ball and it ended in the bushes so I had to make a drop. I then hit a pitching wedge to the green but landed on the bunker. The bunker shot became a disgusting 7 on the green and hit 2 putts to card a 9! This ended my tournament hopes!
